This is the equivalent of let's say CoD only being released for the PS4 as opposed to all other consoles. Or the Division 2 only releasing on the Xbox.

kinda is, doesnt change that being exclusive is bad a you are forced to buy ether console or both.

as a PC gamer being forced down a path were we had full control over our PC and where to get things from kinda stirs up emotions

Epic Games investigated Epic Games and found out that Epic Games is good for the consumers.

I see.

problem is epic is just crap, they can't do basic things... I mean I tried to buy exodus and divisions 2 at the same time and there's no cart system on their thing so I would have to buy them separately. Which I don't know about you all but that stuff triggers my bank's online protection. I mean they make it harder for you to give them money.

I mean at this point you should only expect to see fanboys defending epic. I play fortnite as far as games mechanics go its terrible. I mean it's success is literally despite epic's best efforts. I mean the game has been in beta for 2 years. it still has the same fundemental issues it started with with it just being broken. I mean bloom and aim assist is tweaked every week, building is never reliable. They fix one thing and sudden;ly theres a new issue there never was before.

I mean since 8.0 my damn character automatically W keys I literally have to hold s not to walk while using my LMB

they are obsessed with adding new items that end up being rejected by the community. And they listen too much to people complain about new items as well. Like they are there n gone before they have settled.
Just saying if they spent more time trying to fix or not "fix" certain things, and less time working on new content, the game would be vastly improved. Cuz frankly I can see it even with the streamers, especially console players who have aim assist adjusted weekly. They are getting tired of bring jerked around, too.

(If y'all) ain’t ready for the old murder, then what you gonna do with the new me?

All Valve needed to do was match Epic's revenue split.

Hopefully they do. If they don't, they deserve to lose whatever business they lose.

I see.
They are addressing the store, they actually released a roadmap for the stages and times for everything.

I doubt they offered just a lower fee to get a 1 year exclusive deal on these large, much anticipated games. I'm guessing there's a few million dollars thrown in there as well to make sure they get those games. There's no way these publishers will drop a platform that has 90 million active users (log in at least once a month) for a platform that won't publish how many users they have on PC only for a 17% saving on fees.

No, you're talking more about something like Office 365 not being released for Linux. A closer console comparison would be CoD only being available at Walmart and nowhere else.

If it was about the dev saving 17% on fees, I have to wonder why they aren't selling the games themselves and saving all the fees.
