About 10 years. The colors scheme changed from black and gray to blue and black in 2014. This is the first major redesign in a long time.

Updated UI is great but what Steam really needs is better filters when browsing games. It would be nice to be able to browse games without seeing 50 random 2D indie games with less than ten review for every 1 game of actual interest. It's great for Steam to support the little guy, but I'd still like to be able to browse games without so much random filler. If they aren't going to do any quality control with their store, they at least need better filters. Just adding the ability to filter out games with less than a certain amount of review would be enough.

I totally agree, it's so frustrating to have to browse tons of pages to just find what you need

Looks like more ways to distract the user into wasting more time within interfaces instead of interfacing with the content we are looking for that used to be arranged neatly within a single page without the need to scroll passed redundant information that was already available elsewhere in the software.
