I think it's because of the mix of storytelling and refreshing gameplay mechanics. I've always seen Beyond Good and Evil as this sort of charming, cult, though niche, classic.

I think it looks pretty good. The locations are done great, the character models meh. Pretty gpu limited, and a good amount of pop in, but not too hard on my cpu and runs smooth. I hope I don't have to play for too long to get to Notre Dame.

Imho you missed a great game. I thot FC3 was loads of fun, and Vas has to be one of the most memorable villains in gaming history.

But I do get what you're saying about Ubi games, as much as I enjoyed FC3, FC4 sits there unplayed in my library, just like a whole bunch of AC games sit there unplayed.

And yet I'm downloading all 50 gigs of this because, free.

Seeing the view from up high on towers may change the mind of some here. It looks great and if you view from high enough you won't be able to see legless people or people with scarecrow heads. Ok was just joking with that last part. I mean those graphics problems really do exist but overall the gfx are wonderful imo. So I'm willing to put up with those occassional visual screw ups.

Uninstalled in five minutes. I forgot how bad this game was. Origins and Odyssey are better.

Many games are now 50+ GB downloads. I understands some people have data caps on their internet access, which sucks, but you need to pack somewhere the ultra graphics and game mechanics players demand !

It took me on week day and night to download Doom 2016 !
