Yeah, the small map is too frantic to watch long term. It does highlight RT very well. The lighting actually plays a major role. I just hope ALL the maps get the treatment.

Open beta started today on PS4 i downloaded it and played a couple of rounds with M/Kb. There are a lot more options this time around for M/Kb. It's really good. Still COD but it's different. It's like super fast at times and hella slow at times. Sound is still broken, period IMO. Echo-location least on console is still very much "wat"

Looks meh on a PS4 original also. Maybe it's just 1080p on my 27" 2k monitor but idk it's blurry to me.

Same, I put a few hours in last night and enjoyed if. The game flows significantly different from the last few CoDs and has a lot more verticality and buildings to enter. The pace is either at a crawl or frantic. TTK feels really good, reminds me of BF4. The gunplay is pretty solid as well. I haven't encountered any instances of poor hit det/reg either.

Graphically it looks like it's from 2003 on my 144Hz 21:9 monitor, less than half the FPS and half the FOV and all the blur makes it hard to spot enemies. I'm stoked to try it on my PC.

The only things bugging me are the poor audio quality and how rewarding the game is to campers.

They added a realism mode today thought it was really fun. I'm actually okay with no hud or minimap in either mode but it does seem to reward camping. I think i narrowed it down to the FOV being the most annoying part of it for me. Cause if i'm being honest the mouse/kb integration while not 1:1 is still pretty good. But the FOV is so small and i feel like they slow down the mouse input when trying to turn all the way around idk what it is. I've been constantly increasing my sensitivity.

One of the biggest annoyances is how much effect a stun has. It's one thing to blind you i get that but man even with a mouse i can't move. It's like nerve gas or something hits your character and might as well freeze you.

This last one might be ego driven but it's pretty apparent with me the way to achieve parity with console and m/kb is to seriously ramp up aim-assist. Granted part of me is glad i have lots of friends that i'm wanting to play with that aren't on PC. The other part of me just sits there and is like "if the game wasn't auto locking, none of these guys would hit a thing". It's apparent for those that start to try and track a strafing target crosshair is all over the place. It's the nature of joysticks and they've done a good job in all honesty, it's just frustrating not being on PC i guess. Still i'm happy for the support. Dunno if my backup can run this game and will be carrying my PS4 home with me this weekend.

Just played a couple of more rounds in Realism. So you can't destroy enemy claymores to my knowledge. Was a lot of camping going on. I'm just not a TD guy spawns are entirely too variable.

Lets see what COD does with the larger maps. TDM has its place, but i do agree, i could not do it 24/7. Its fun in small bursts. Looking forward to see if the devs raise the bar regarding PCMR graphics. I believe all the current beta is console footage...which aint too bad.

Yeah, I found realism to be enjoyable since I play HC time to time. It's a little slower and seemingly less sweaty. I found TDM spawns to be especially crap on Hackney Yard because you can spawn trap easily.

The issue with the KMB, like you said isn't 1:1. It's tied to the game's max turn speed and acts exactly like a XIM. The aim feels a little floaty and you can't do any fast swipes in my case.

I think the tac mask (or whatever it's called in this one) will be one of my go-to perks, the stun grenades are hilariously strong as well.

I've been using my XIM (so I can use my USB headset since the PS4 only has 2 USBs) and am ready to get off of console.
I'm not going to feel bad for using a M+KB this time around, the aim assist is strongest I've seen in a game in a long time.
