I mean, aren't a lot of engines like that? Source and Source 2 both still have remnants of GoldSource and the old Quake engine in them.

Capt. Price gives no ducks in a stealth mission by still smoking. lol

Heard this is not the original Capt. Price actor since that dude's already in his 80s.

That's when the devs actually cared about making proper WWII games or just games in general. COD has strayed far away from it's roots.

I would have actually been interested in purchasing cod this time around if it was going to be back on steam.

This is the first time I've been legitimately interested in a CoD game in a decade.

A lot of that might be Activision's trailer magic, but the Digital Foundry video on the engine tech definitely has me excited.

Is it that big of a deal to have a different app installed? I understand when EA left Steam and everyone was mad, because things began to be separated. But it is what it is anymore.

I used to hate it when stuff wasn't available on steam but I prefer to purchase games on their "home" platform now so that I don't need to open steam and the distributors program (Uplay etc..) to log in and play the game.

Shopping for games on Steam has become like shopping for things on Amazon, there are just too many items to make browsing effective. If you know exactly what you want then you won't have any trouble but good luck if you need to figure out what you want to buy.

I agree I haven't browsed like that on Steam in forever. Way too much crap games.
