Your cool if you don't have an optical drive? Like my daughter thought she was cool not wearing a coat in winter. Sheech...

I have a SATA DVD player from like 10 years ago that I keep on-hand for these occasions. I only plug it in when needed.

Those that want physical copies want it for the memorabilia. Installing from disk is part of the Pre-Order 3x the price experience for them.

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.

I bought a physical copy of Witcher 3 for myself and I bought a digital copy for my daughter off GOG. In the minimum, everyone should buy CDPR games from GOG. Anyone, saying "library in one place" in this instance should get an instant backhand.

I'm hoping those that want a physical copy (box art, map, extras) speak out though so we can still have those options.
Oh, you know there will be a collectors edition. The game + a collectors piece, etc.

I'm not strictly talking about a collector's edition, just a standard edition, although if the collector's edition is reasonable well you never know!

ya know some people still have rotary phones . .

Remember the golden rule of statistics: A personal sample size of one is a sufficient basis upon which to draw universal conclusions.
Upload the computer to Dropbox and provide a link to it so others may download it to examine and give advice for repairs.

some people still run win7 too, but thanks to games like this, that's slowly being fixed.

I'm not buying until CD confirms dual GPU

no dual gpu, no full price purchase.

yes, dual gpu.

we'll be @ RTX end of life by april 2020, but nothing new yet...

it SHOULD have good SLI support based on The Witcher 3, but I'm still betting low settings @4K for 60FPS on 2x 1080ti.

all while Sony is running around telling their consumers that PS5 will be doing 4K120FPS... sure, in the UI, or in super simple games, once you've spent another $500+ on the addon card that'll plug into the secondary SSD slot thingy.

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.

I agree that it should have SLI support. This game looks so awesome and the nod to Johnny Mnemonic has me all giddy right now.

My LG Bluray burner is the memorabilia that's been collecting dust since maybe 2014 give or take. Can't even remember last time I've used it.
