M$ is not going to give you new games for this, maybe newish once in a while to somewhat legitimize the service but their goal is to get you paying a monthly fee making the X-Box Pass part of your household utility bills.

You did not buy these games day one and in most cases you were willing to play them sometime down the road. How many games do you play and finish a year? What, maybe 5-7 games at most unless you're an adolescent living on dad's couch, most of us have lives. Better to pay $5 for each of the games you intend to finish, rather then a monthly bill. Skip anything linked to services, just my 2 cents.

I love these type of services. There are so many games out there that I'd love to try but wouldn't be willing to buy because I'm not sure if I'd like it, but this type of service let's me try s bunch of new games and genres without feeling like I wastes money buying a game.

Also, Blair Witch is a new game and it came out on XGP day 1. Other Microsoft games also come out day one here so... Yes they are giving people new games.

Like it or don't, but get your facts straight before renting about how it's not a good service.

I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean... It's a new that just came out and got good reviews, which goes against your statement that no new games will come out on game pass.

Do you actually have a point to make here, because you are factually wrong. On the Ms service you get first party games day one and a very respectable backlog for like 5 usd a month while it's in beta.

Have you ever read Hansel and Gretel? I don't think UltraMega has.

Microsoft just doubled the first party studio lineup and it’s all coming to Game Pass day 1.

The gaming industry is still in rapid growth so Phil got the go ahead for a near unlimited spending budget. Game Pass is one of the best value options on the market, and my plan for gaming platforms over the next decade is pretty much just Game Pass and GoG.com. Kind of two extreme opposites but I feel like it’s a nice balance.

wut?

What does that have to do with this? Do you think game pass is some kind of witch luring in unsuspecting kids? Are you that jaded?

Also... I mean really? You suspect I am not familiar with a common fairy tale because I like game pass? Where do you come up that kind of logic? I guess it must be the same logic that tells you $5 a month for a bunch of games big and small is a bad deal.

Had the pass for 2 months and did not use it. I think they are finally starting to notice that people don't even play that many games. I can manage maybe 2-4 games a year with 1 regular game which is FTP. Paid for 1 year or Origin Access which I did not even fully use apart from Anthem.
