Thanks for confirming they have a C++ version. I never look at the Windows 10 app store.
This is because you are a sane human being. The Java version is the defacto version for almost all PC users as it is the one with all the server plugin and mod support, but every other platform uses the C++ version.
That being said, the C++ version runs insanely well. I did a 1.7.10 vs 1.14.2 Java FPS test a while back:
And compared to the C++ version, 1.14.2 is pathetically slow.
That is why this 1080p/60 target for RTX is embarrassing. Modern GPUs have more than enough power to brute force higher performance on a worse codebase in legacy OpenGL than the Tensor cores can pull off with every advantage under the sun including access to the actual source code. It's sad.
