space fighting is best on dual sticks. Space trucking? the throttle works fine. Some day I'll build out a proper sim pit again. Just so many other more important things those stacks gotta go to first.
I cam so close to buying a second stick for Star Citizen. So glad I didn't. I could never get into flight sims, it was to much work to set up the Warthog and MFG pedals I just gave up. Both are still sitting in storage.
Maybe this game will make me bring it out of storage, this or Everspace 2.

There must be a stick for lefties by now I would hope. Maybe dual sticks is actually possible.

The people who went to that event are guessing that the computers running it there used 2080Tis.

LOL, yup, close enough to the real thing from what I remember. Worked on the hog half my career, from 12/80-06/90. Pretty reliable AC.

that throttle looks different than mine... I swear I've got more switches on the base.

bit of googling, yep they added those green LEDs and a few switches in the NE quadrant of the throttle base.

On the low end, thrustmaster t16000m can be configured for left hand. Its not a bad stick but the thumb buttons feel meh and there arent many. More importantly, the twist potentiometer is known to fail and the stick is fiddly to take apart and put back together.

On the high end, VKB and Virpil both make left handed grips.

If the screenshots and videos are how the game will truly look then this is going to be an amazingly beautiful title. I am really excited. Considering buying some cockpit simulator instruments from the company I work for.

Go Gators!
