nice, I have a X box one copy I was given as a gift, but using a controller makes me cringe

Well they took their sweet time so hopefully they cleaned up their messy code substantially to make it a nicely running port to PC. No wait, that never happens.

Rarely but they do happen. If they tied the release with the console, I would of jumped in for full price. Now my interest is faded.

you had me there for a sec...LOL!

port has been "ready" for ages, the earnings just weren't low enough yet.

They do have sales, they just up the price first so the sale is actually the normal price...

etc.

If that were true, there'd be consistant spikes up before "going on sale".

GTA III - ran terribly (first time using the RenderWare)
Vice City - ran very well
Max Payne - ran very well
Max Payne 2 - ran very well
San Andreas - ran very well
Bully - ran very well (but controls on PC were terrible, using a controller is pretty much a requirement)
GTA IV + DLCs - ran terribly (first games using RAGE)
Max Payne 3 - ran very well
LA Noire - ran very well (albeit capped at 30fps because of the animations)
GTA V - ran very well (and is in fact still used to benchmark GPU performance 4 years after launch, only other games I can think of that got used in benchmarks this long is the Crysis series)

So out of 10 games released, only 2 of them run like garbage and both of those games were the first time they were using a new game engine

I don't care how long ago this was, it completely removed me from ever buying a rockstar game again.

STEAM's intention? I thought devs set up all that stuff, and tell steam what can go on sale, when and for what....

my point being, that article is written all sorts of wrong unless things were vastly different on STEAM 4 years ago? Which I doubt.

it was Rockstar's intention
