Yeah. I'd rather see a HL1 RTX remake. I've replayed the game so many times, but I'd happily replay it again.

Uh, there is a game called Black Mesa, which remakes the original Half-Life with the latest Source Engine (which is heavily modded). Adding only Ray Tracing to a ancient looking game will not make it actually really better looking.

Well until we know what "State of the Art Visusls" mean we should not be saying only ray tracing is getting added.

Crytek just straight up needs to remake Crysis 1, re-release it in a new engine with ray tracing enabled, modernize gameplay mechanics a little bit, maybe fix that ending lmao, and it'll make lots of money.

Anyways my vote goes to Bioshock or Dead Space.
They could remake the game from the 2nd just trying to make a better 3rd game, I mean how the first ended was fine but Crysis could be improved with some of the Crysis 3 mechanics and the game series could be an universe like Halo or Doom there is so much potential lost in this franchise meanwhile games like Halo have more than 4 games for the same plotline

Because my point was about performance the game would tank with RTX enabled, I see even modern titles need a 800-600usd card to max out Nvidia's RTX with acceptable framerate Imagine Cryengine 2 which was already demanding and not very optimized for multi cpu usage

Looks like they are going for open source titles
