thanks for the help.
Well don't toss Bethesda or unsold Foblivion copies into a dumpster! You gotta properly dispose of hazardous materials.

I am curious, how do you compare FO3 vs FO NV? given recent story of their published/developed games perhaps Besthesda is overrated ? for example people think that Bethesda made DOOM,FO NV,Wolfenstein (TNO,TOB,TNC,Youngblood),Prey,Dishonored when actually they were done by other studios (IDSoftware,MachineGames,Obsidian,Arkane) sometimes with collaborations between them at the end the most sucessfully titles for Bethesda have been released were made by other game studios rather themselves (IDSoftware evern though is owned by Bethesda has a higher quality than you would expect from Besthesda but their expertice is limited to arcade games (TNC feels more fast paced than the former titles from MachineGames, and Youngblood is not even Wolfenstein ,I am not sure if it was the influence from Arkande studios or the lack of time to release a good game with a proper campaign)/idtech)

I am so glad that I ignore Bethesda. It must suck to constantly be let down.

Bethesda, EA, Blizzard, and Ubisoft.

though ubisoft is slowly trying to claw back some credibility via delaying the "super ambitious" Watch Dogs newest edition, which i'll now play thanks to the delay. The 1st one was OK, the second one was pretty meh, but it looks like #3 should actually be what #1 was promised to be all along+ what was promised from 2... waiaaaaaiaiaaiiait i see a pattern here.

EA is trying to get a slighly better public opinion selling the games on steam unlike other studios/publishers which decide to make their own launcher and release their game only there (Bethesda *cough*)

idk if that's about opinion, or just admitting origin has failed as stand alone.

how about instead, you just bring Origin studios back to life. that'll never happen though.

omg, trying to google up the old origin dev company = entire first page is EA ads.

It's milking all over the place, even after you bought the base $60 game and now the $12.99/ month or $99/year service.

The whole concept of Fallout 76 is Bethesda jumping on the live service bandwagon no matter the cost to ravage people's wallets for years on end and especially get that awesome "whale" money, with as little effort or care as possible, both in game and outside of it (canvas bag, beer bottle, leaking people's private information on-line, etc). It meant banking on one of their popular franchises to shoehorn a rent model into, no matter how nonsensical it was from the start. The result is the succession of disasters and lies that's on display for everybody to see. It's patently obvious by now that they don't care about anything but money and even the biggest fans who were on denial are starting to realize it.
This is exactly right.

Just another AAA developer who's priorities now lie far too fixated on profit. Shame as the last gaming franchise I love is TES series and i suspect that'll soon recieve the same treatment. Pokemon is another of mine thats recently hit rock bottom.

I've been patiently waiting for TES 6, and my gaming "career" is over if that goes down the pan.

It was always clear to me Fallout 76 was going to flop. Bethesda's track record of bugs plus an unstable, rickety game engine was never in a million years, going to stand up to the scrutiny of an online community. I just never anticipated it would do this badly....To call the entire thing a PR trainwreck is a tremendous understatement. Absolutely shocking really.

Yes, the Elder Scrolls had always been first in my book. The only game release that I ever stood in line for at midnight with my daughter and the only game I would book a week of vacation time to play.

Since the release of Skyrim, the game industry has become unrecognizable; something alien, something strange.

Bethesda will continue with their strategy of squeezing as much money as they can, because people keep letting them, and that is why TES VI is doomed.

Bathesda has been such a disappointment for a long time. No hope remains from me. At least I can always go back and enjoy some of the older Fallout games.
