skup, did you post something about "upgrading" through GOG Galaxy itself?

i used the download link, well page to the DL link, in the OP. the installer was ~25Mbs and DLed the rest of the stuff about the same time steam updates.*

fwiw, i don't care about a lot of specific platform stuff like trading cards, chatting, discussions or whatnot. it's mostly just a launcher if folks are looking for more, than they just might wanna stick to each specific platform.

i don't spend that much time gaming anymore - this imported all the games i have and i can see them in one place. that simplified things for me.

*E:
all my settings were there and it logged me in like previously.

are you sure you aren't in the closed beta? Pretty sure from what i'm seeing the standard download/open beta only includes steam sync. I'll take a look again tonight, the office xmas party was last night.

i'm sure its the open beta. truthfully i hadn't fired up gog since . . (what free game was that?)
the only games i've play most all year are destiny 2, (battle.net) MGS:TPP (steam) dead space (origin) and far cry 2 (steam).

nvm, helps to re-read OPs.

quite strange, i'll have to poke around again. All I have in my settings is the option to sync steam, i couldn't even find dark mode however the office holiday xmas party was last night sooooo yeaaah

bro, I had no clue they were desperation hookup events. I'm a greenhorn in the world of "legitimate business"

there's a separate download link "version 2.0" on the main user screen pulls a different client than the DL link in your profile.
