And ofc this is why pre-ordering is bad. I have zero sympathy for those that pre-ordered and are disappointed.

What is worst is that they also changed the original game itself.
You can't play on the original game as it used to be anymore. So you get all the bad changes taken out of your game even when you didn't pre-order the new version nor interested in playing it.
That on its own for me is the worst part.

I have the Original Warcraft III Battle Chest version with the Original Media and Box. I wanted to do a complete OFFLINE Installation so that I dont have to go online and deal with their broken crap. Obviously this is only good if you are Not playing multiplayer but it installed and played just fine with a small crack that I downloaded. Sucks that us Original Owner's have to take these methods to play a game that we purchased through Retail channels. You can also download the Updates to it as well without having to force it to go online through Blizzard's broken mess but you will have to find them. I was able to update to 1.28 or 1.29 (Dont remember). If you update to a newer version it will force you to go online and that is where the problems arise.

The Game play's just like it was meant to be played and is all Original by doing it this way. Single Player only.

I don't really think that's fair. Pre-ordering is supporting the game/company - the onus is on them to live up to their promises about the game.

Nowhere near as bad what people are saying.

The game itself is definitely flawed. The fact that it was delayed and still has these issues is not good at all. I'm definitely not excited features (albeit lesser known features) were removed

However, people are over-reacting to small details that truly don't matter. the EULA has always said (even during SC1, let alone WC3), that "Blizzard owns your work". It was changed slightly during SC2, but I still see plenty of Spongebob and DBZ custom games being played, despite youtubers like Yongyea reporting that they are *BANNED* now.

Blizzard advertised new in-game cutscenes and so far that much is true. Definitely not cool that they downgraded a scene that was already shown off to the public though. Overall I'm enjoying myself as a WC3 fan, and while I see where the complaints are coming from and share the sentiment, it's blown way out of proportion.

I think it's mostly just broke cry babies that have no chill complaining. The game AINT that bad and with a few months, it'll be back up fixed, maybe not some of the downgrades but who knows. People should already know not to preorder games, and if they do, not be naive enough to start steaming like a child who didnt get icecream. I sometimes forget we're recessing emotional IQ...

I tried to play at 4K and the game was not smooth at all. The movement felt very clunky. I thought something was off. I just did not like the feel of this game at all. I was expecting in my mind Heros of the Storm movement. All we got is a WC3 mod. They should have moved the game to a different engine. Also, they did not need to rush it out.

I agree, feels rushed but nothing time can't fix. Also throwing a new engine seems like a lot of work, for the price of a new game, I'd agree.
