tbh this news makes me uneasy regarding Rockstar's future.
I have this feeling that GTA VI will be "online only" which would be catastrophic IMO.
If they slowly but surely shift to "online only" games, that will be the end of Rockstar as we know it.
I repeat, I've played about 20 minutes of GTA Online and about 10 minutes of RDR2 Online - both were incredibly boring and I've never touched that mode since. The single player modes OTOH, I play even to this day.
Dan Houser was the real "story-guy" behind these great games/franchises. Benzies is already out as of GTA V. Now one of the Housers.
The way they never made GTA V single player DLC really was pathetic. I don't think they're going to make RDR 2 single player DLC either.
i actually like gta online regarding its gameplay. ofcourse i would like more singleplayer games. i mean look at EA whose CEO is shocked pikachu that star wars single player they estimated at 6-8million copies, sold 10 million. the suits are idiots who have no idea what people want
rdr2 online obviously cant compare with gtao experience, as gtao is basically second life in LA with yacht/supercars/homes/helicopters, and the end game is wonderfull. you can do car meets with your crew mates, role play, drive around the map and so much more
it's my new #1 game, lol. I didn't buy it until it launched on Steam and I haven't crashed or had any bugs.
up until Chapter 2 the game kinda sucks but it's just because the entire 1st chapter is an intro that goes on for faaaaaar too long.
I got it on steam as well. And i ran into a bunch of dialogue bugs and unkillable enemies. So I have to keep reloading check points and cut scenes. It gets really frustrating. Also it takes like 10 mins to load the game on my nvme. Not sure what is with that. But I mostly ran into controls not working. Right now I'm supposed to cook a rabbit but I can't.
Someone tell people they're allowed to show teeth on pictures.
