off topic i am very curious the concessions cd projekt red had to make to get cyberpunk 2077 to run on current gen consoles
i don't even wanna know how long the list of concessions is.

or rather "limitations cuz current gen consoles"

10 years, almost out of development hell.

speaking of console limitations. FF11 supposedly has an expansion coming. NO JOKE.

Add me on Steam, same name
R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.

Thank you.
It always feels people think Crysis is a hardware demo only but it's actually a really fun game. The nanosuit is also less limited than the 3rd and 2nd game and gives you a lot of freedom to do fun stuff.

While I'd very much like to play a Crysis Remastered version, I have this feeling that it won't be all that it could be. In that either the remaster will only bring it on par with current gen games so in effect not be that much of a difference or that they'll make some alterations to make the actual game-play worse.

We'll just have to wait an see. What I would have also liked to see was maybe have the ice levels expanded a bit since they were pretty short or have an expansion where we get to see what Prophet was up to between being separated from and then reunited with Nomad.

Can we get a pool going on what the price point will be? Im all in for $30, couldnt even finish crysis due to constant hardware struggles. Nothing would ever run that ***** at 60. Actually I tried a few years ago with a 6 core intel and 1080ti and still no love, constant dips. Made me want to just uninstall the POS

Crytek needs money, so they'll cash in on nostalgia. $60, $90 for a special edition that includes some sort of season pass for multiplayer "live service" stuff is my wager.

If you play Crysis 1 today you need to make sure you install the 1.2 patch which usually doesn't come preinstalled with whatever version of crysis you own for some dumb reason, and don't use the in game AA because the way crysis 1 does AA doesn't work well on modern hardware and will tank your performance.

Loved it to bits.

Crysis spoilt me way back then and it felt futuristic in its design. So much so that I felt like later games adopted its elemets; looks great, sandbox, sneaking, tagging, vehicles, clear side objectives, lenty of physics, cinematic.

I think the only thing missing were more light RPG elements for the first game (stats/xp other than customized weapons) and then it's pretty much your contemporary game design.

I remember seeing Crysis first before MGS4 and CoD on the PS4 and was kinda let down by the supposed next gen PS3 graphics.

the only way it will cost 60, it is if they add multiplayer to it, aswell some kind of SDK tool to mod the game, otherwise I dont see people willing to pay that much... it will probably be priced at 30-45 since games like Hunt showdown cost $25-30
