I was honestly expecting a faster GPU requirement under recommended specs. Check out the RAM requirements under ideal specs.

This is developed for MS's next gen console in mind. And, at a guess, all future games from Redmond will be more catered to for console. So far, the strength of next gen consoles is it's bandwidth capabilities.

Once upon a time MS actually had their own gaming development studio hub. That had:
-Ensemble Studios
-Microsoft or Microsoft Game Studios
-Bungie
And a few others I don't recall. If I recall correctly. However, not sure what's going on now a days though.

Flight Sim is absolutely gorgeous. I've been fortunate enough to get access to it.

Love how they say Radeon VII is recommended for AMD, but then say 8GB VRAM. Actually, I have lots of issues with the way they presented that requirements list. Ryzen Pro 2700X? Why specify the Pro variant? Did the 590 ever come as a 4GB version? The "nVidia" system using Intel CPUs. Why split them as AMD/nVidia? Just roll it together, i.e: CPU: AMD Ryzen Pro 2700X/Intel i7-9800X, GPU: AMD Radeon VII/nVidia RTX 2080... then no repetition of OS, RAM, VRAM, SSD, bandwidth...

Well, whatever. I'm still interested in a new Flight Sim, I'm just puzzled with how they presented the spec list.

Lionhead? Epic Games?

They've recently acquired good studios, like Ninja Theory, inXile Ent., & Obsidian.

The futures seems much better.
