Worth noting that with how seamless the last gen of consoles was the graphical change probably will not be the big jump that we are used to from new console gens. Current gen consoles can run 4k (admittedly not overly smoothly especially with loading times) and since 8k does not truly exist as of right now the graphical jump will probably be small. Probably the biggest change is that SSDs will be embedded int eh consoles hopefully making loading times virtually disappear. Also we can hopefully expect small details like hair to actually work right (sorry I still have not been able to find a game with "true" looking hair). Another large jump is the rumor (confirmed for Xbox unconfirmed for PlayStation) that ray tracing will now be at least theoretically possible in games. This will allow light to realistically bounce off of things and to make accurate reflections which is something that games currently lack on the current generation. Ray tracing will also make shadows appear less blocky and the lighting in general will just get better.
