I found the demo to be extremely impressive. The water looked a bit meh and needs a bit of work, but the overall effect was astonishing. A console, producing those visuals, demo or no, is impressive.

Some people expecting 4K60 on next-gen games from Consoles are really living a cave playing with their $100 PC GPU. Get a 2080 Ti and see how well 4K60 is done with current-gen games. Do you want old graphics and run 4K60 or do you want 1440p/30 and then take that to PC for 4K60.

...or the opposite, where we have PC Mustard Racing league members who are so blown away by what they see here that they're trying to make it sound like this is fake / smoke and mirrors. In actuality, this footage was captured directly from the playable demo running on a PS5 dev kit as confirmed by Epic. So in other words, it's a real PS5 game, albeit a short one.

Sounds like you should be sad over other things, like the fact that your PC isn't capable enough to run this.

Tech used in the demo is impressive (apart form water looking like jelly), but not expecting first iteration of next-gen consoles to come even close to this. Kind of like how Sony showcased The Dark Sorceror tech demo for PS4 in 2013.

Looks like this is part of Sony's marketing plan to hype this for casual audience.

Microsoft, so far, showcased "gameplay" video for several games on Xbox Series X.
Saw glimpses of that and they were not as graphically impressive as this tech demo, but they looked more realistic as to what expect from next-gen consoles in the beginning.

Yeah. I applaud microsoft for not going that route but now I pity them. Because Sony just took the market with all the casual idiots that belive this is what games will look like. like this dude:

What i would like is for next gen consoles to run at 4K60 with next gen graphics, cause then i can run those games at 4k120 on whatever i decide to buy next year.

It doesnt work like that. Its not a direct if this, then that. if it was, we'd all be playing at 4K120 by now.

I know the new consoles are all the hype right now, but I would love to see an Unreal 5 demo done on a pc.

I am going to have to give a big NO on the streaming thing. It is far easier to get a good gaming pc than it is to get good internet.
