[AnandTech] Gaming AIs: NVIDIA Teaches A Neural Network to Recreate Pac-Man

Source: https://www.anandtech.com/show/15814...ecreate-pacman

Quote:
Following last week’s virtual GTC keynote and the announcement of their Ampere architecture, this week NVIDIA has been holding the back-half of their conference schedule. As with the real event, the company has been posting numerous sessions on everything NVIDIA, from Ampere to CUDA to remote desktop. But perhaps the most interesting talk – and certainly the most amusing – is coming from NVIDIA’s research group.

Tasked with developing future technologies and finding new uses for current technologies, today the group is announcing that they have taught a neural network Pac-Man.

And no, I don’t mean how to play Pac-Man. I mean how to be the game of Pac-Man.

Soon developers will be able to pitch an AI an idea and it will be able to draw an entire game.

how much intelligence does it take to gobble up psychedelic amphetamines?

Remember the golden rule of statistics: A personal sample size of one is a sufficient basis upon which to draw universal conclusions.
Upload the computer to Dropbox and provide a link to it so others may download it to examine and give advice for repairs.

My IQ is 70 if that matters.

#2 their debt is insane, even for a "diverse field" company. They cannot even afford to service the debt maintenance let alone make an actual dent in the debt itself. - Internet Stranger

Oh, man, you didn't luck out on your IQ testing. 70 is the worst! You're just dumb! What you want to do is be born with 69 or less. That's when you get a clinical denomination. You want that to get all of the goodies, like better parking and stuff.

I wonder by what they mean by watching. Is it by looking at a video gameplay like a person would look, or by getting the frames and looking at the running digital code to understand?
