I hope it works better than Fallen Order, I can't even update Fallen Order without opening up origin. It works the same way as adding a game to Steam that you purchased somewhere else. I would be all for better integration.

Maybe they will finally make amends with the PC / enthusiasts community?

Makes me think that EA doesn't want to limit the rumored Mass Effect remaster to Origin only...

TBH I've never really had any issue with origin. It's pretty lightweight and unintrusive IMO. I don't blame other companies for wanting to circumvent steams high fees. It's possible that EA has decided to return to steam because Valve has changed their pricing model in response to the epic store... So weirdly we might have epic to thank for this.

Seems like every other major game on steam has a separate launcher these days, so I'm not gonna single out EA for maintaining the status que here. It is what it is.

I had a PS4pro, xbox one x and a switch at one point. Sold the Pro about 2 months ago. Xbox One X is also on sale. Switch is a keeper as me and my daughter we play it all the time. I got an Asus PG279QE monitor with an MSI 2070 Super... And man it is amazing.... I will still get a PS5 for exclusives though

-------------------------------------------------

One of the reasons I am excited for this is the regional pricing that Steam has. Maybe they allow origin games to be priced according to the Turkish market.

Origin: ArCeyDu3
PSN: ArCeyDu3
Steam: arda371 nickname ArCeyDu3
Xbox Live: ArCeyDu3 (on PC)

Agreed. While Origin doesn't bother me, the way EA treats their best known titles does.

I still like video games, very much. I started playing Minecraft sometime, but then I switched to Dota2. I think Dota 2 is better than other video games
