As mega-publisher Electronic Arts continues to expand its presence in the paid download arena, Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has revealed a new strategy in which EA sells what, in his words, "would essentially be a very long game demo."

They could release a demo of the demo, so you try before you buy, before you buy.

Its not like many recent games' single player is much longer than a demo anyways.

Have you played BF 1943?!? Worth every penny IMO.

It did get old after a while though. The infuriating console controls basically limited my experience to dogfighting, which is fun, but playing the same map over and over again gets kind of boring after a while.

I wouldn't mind this, but there needs to be one change. If EA were to release a full paid game based on BF1943 I think they should set the price at the usual $60, but only charge $15 to everyone who bought BF1943.

Also they need to release it on the PC already. It was apparently delayed until Q1'10, so they've got 9 days to release it.

WHAT THE HELL?....i thought that demo were to try the game before you buy, not pay to try a game then have to pay again for the game, thats just stupid, well EA needs to go do something with themselves and not plague the gaming world, whether it be PC gaming or Console for that matter, or better yet just do console and let someone else do PC gaming, kill consoles not PC gaming
