Can the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo handle a 6-core Intel 5820k if I put two 120mm fans on it instead just one that came with it?

It'll handle it, I just wouldn't bother trying to OC it.

So am I a bad person or is my female Shepard just easy?

Is your i5 760 overclocked?

for right now just to setup my os for benching and doing some memory testing I have a hyper 212 evo on my 5960x. I would say my limit is about 1.325v. I get to around 70-75c max during firestrike. I don't run it for long periods of time but it seems to work ok.

For the amount you spent on the setup I would go for a noctua or aio, but I would say you could get away with evo, really depends on what you want to do.

Probably not ideal. I would imagine overclocking is out of the question. What load temps are you getting with stock clocks and something like intel burn in test or prime 95?

stock with push-pull hyper 212 evo on prime95 and intel burn its hovering low 30s.

At 4.4ghz I pushed it to 1.27v

I've seen up to low 50s but cpu-z has me at 42 at 4.4 and 1.27 volts
http://valid.x86.fr/519zy4

4.4 is a mild overclock for the 5820k, others are getting 4.6 on air and 4.9 on water

the hyper 212 evo is probably not the best hsf on the market but it's doing very well

As long as your temps stay within the "ideal" operating range I would say you are fine. Not sure what kind of tasks you use your computer for but just watch long term use temps (like rendering or gaming for over an hour or so).

Intel says the tcase is 66.8*c (Case Temperature is the maximum temperature allowed at the processor Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS)).

what are you clocking it at with 1.325 volts?

I'm at 1.27 to reach 4.4 on a 5820k, cpu-z says it's 42 but I've seen low 50s

I just bought the cheapest air cooler I could find to use to setup my os's for new cpu's and then I move on to more extreme cooling. But right now I am at about 4.4ghz at 1.3v. I can go to about 1.325v, any higher and I think my temps would reach an uncomfortable range. But I have only done a few benches and testing, not a lot of 24/7 use.

With the low voltage you use and a cooler chip you should be fine with the evo.

I also forgot to mention I only have one corsair sp 120 fan on it. A second fan should help.

Unfortunately not, my board doesn't support OCing, BCLK or otherwise.
