I know I know it's a prebuilt but a good deals a good deal. Anyways. I have an asus m32cd with an i5 6400 skylake. Scored a 6600k from a friend who went to a 6700k. My question is this.... I need a good low profile cpu cooler for the 6600k that will fit. Don't say evo 212 please as I'm pretty sure it will not fit my case. Rest of rig 16 gb pny ddr4 gtx 960 ftw and 2 92 mm fans pulling air into case. Evga 600w ps

As Billy said, assuming you can get the stock cooler use it.

What temps does your 6400 run? If it running cool, you might be able to use the 6400 cooler. 6400 is 65w tdp and 6600 is 91w tdp. So if you are running 55c stress testing, the 6600 would be about 65-70c, which is safe.

blushsmiley.gif I knew that. After all I'm using a 6700K myself.

Do you know what the distance from motherboard to case is?
Also center CPU to PCIe socket and how tall RAM is above motherboard.

With those measurements I can figure out what coolers should fit.

And about my comment was not trying to sound smart if I did. Just ment if I had to buy a cooler thought I'd be better off buying aftermarket instead of a stocker is all

I took no offense. I forgot the 6600k and 6700k didn't come with coolers. I never buy CPUs with coolers anyway.
