Phanteks' fan at Computex 2018: 0.7mm tip clearance

source: https://www.techpowerup.com/live/ima...anteks_022.jpg

edit: per https://youtu.be/RX0wMcZO0-A?t=613

30mm fan thickness option

edit 2: I don't know if it is truly 6 phases or 6 poles, the poster says 6 phases. For reference, the Be Quiet Silent Wings 3 uses a 6 pole motor but 3 phase power ; Arctic Bionix also uses 3 phases ; Noctau Industrial uses 3 phases as well.

Thanks for the info AlphaC.

Looks like Dmitry Novoselov of Hardware Canucks.

Problem with shows like Computex is you walk into a room having 10-20 minutes (depends on how busy that company is) to learn all about what is being shown and do an 11 minute video of information about new products .. which takes a very quick mind to grasp that much new info and rattle it all back in such a short time .. now combine that with jet-lag from traveling to the show and everything else happenging there and you have an instant recipe for mistakes. So it's easy to do and not catch them before it goes public.

If they are anything like Delta 120x25 to 120x30 the difference in pressure rating will be significant.

Yeap ^^
We need to see some reviews of these. I generally like their fans, good price for good performance; so when a new one comes out, yeah, am paying attention alright

The 140x30mm sounds interesting, hopefully it'll provide some competition for noctua's iPPC 3000 140x25mm

Somehow, i am far more interested in these than the new Noctuas. If history repeats, we would see similar performance at a lower price point. Looking forward to getting my hands on some of these.

Yeah....the little girl hentai avatar is really creeping me out....

Me too. Phanteks going for 0.7mm tip clearance in a 30mm thick fan has all kinds of good possiblities.
