Solder the wires - Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex 14 Fan

Hi.

I need to know how to solder the wires in a Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex 14 Fan.
The four wires came off when the owner of the Fan pulled a few years ago.

I would need to know where each wire goes to be soldered again.

I don't know if it is correct to place them like this:

1- Black
2- Blue
3- Red
4- Yellow

Anyone who has it clear with this?

Thanks!

At the motor end of the cable, as numbered by the OP in his image:

Pin Number|Wire Color|Pin Name|Description

1|BLACK|V-|GND
2|RED|+12VDC|FAN POWER
3|BLUE|PWM|DIGITAL CONTROL
4|YELLOW|SENSE or SPEED or TACH or FAN RPM|SIGNAL

At the other end of the cable (pwm fan header end):

1|BLACK|V-|GND
2|RED|+12VDC|FAN POWER
3|YELLOW|SENSE or SPEED or TACH or FAN RPM|SIGNAL
4|BLUE|PWM|DIGITAL CONTROL

Note: If you look closely in the OP's original image, you'll note lettering next to the solder contacts on the PCB like "P", "T", "+". Color coding in the case above doesn't necessarily follow spec, but is correct. Ref. allpinouts.org Motherboard (CPU) 4 Pin Fan
