At a guess its only going to be as good as an Intel stock cooler, meaning it'll struggle with the cpu at stock and no overclocking (aside from maybe undervolting tweaks). Any tower cooler with a few heat pipes will do much better, only they'll depend on height constraints of your case. I wouldn't touch it with a cpu like that, maybe a nice aesthetic upgrade over stock cooler for locked cpus if you like to throw money at stuff like this.

If the upgraded, larger version is rated at 90W TDP, what could this be? 50-60W? Neither is applicable for an 8700K.

If you want a top down with Argeebee, buy a good top down cooler and a Phanteks Halo for the fan.

Yeah....the little girl hentai avatar is really creeping me out....

It's no good and could be dangerous on an 8700K, especially one that's not delidded.
Consider any other alternative with heat pipes and a good 120mm cooler at least! There are plenty of models that will fit in most small cases if that's a constraint for you.

Please give us your system specifications, like case, case fans, RAM, etc. so we have an idea of what you will need .. like what cooler are applicable and what temps vs noise levels you can expect.

Basic rule is all of these pancake / downflow coolers run significantly hotter than tower coolers simply because their airflow design causes them to re-use their own heated airflow.

That's no better than the stock Intel cooler we all threw away at one point. Your thermals will suck and it might not maintain stock turbo speeds but it'll work. Terrible idea IMO.

I'd use something like a Cryorig H7 as a minimum.
