Second, it isn't about "under 1500 rpm" nearly as much as it is about "at like noise levels", or conversely which fan is quieter at the same performance level, and which has the nicer sound signature. Given that, the NF-A12X25 far outperforms the NF-F12 iPPC in every respect, and it doesn't have the iPPC's bearing noise that those with sensitive hearing find so irritating. The OP is using 24 fans....24 iPPC would be like nails on a chalkboard at any speed due to that bearing noise. Take a look at actual measured performance through a rad below 1500 rpm - https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/...x25_PWM/5.html - the iPPC stacks up very poorly next to the NF-A12X25, SW3, ML120, GT, and even the $15 Phanteks F120ML.
Man, i never said anything about replacing radiators, so stop guessing what i haven't even said. Buying 24fans is still expensive. In my country its cheaper to invest in another 360mm external rad setup, temps will be much cooler and push-pull won't be needed unless rads are too thick. Thats my point of view and it works. Even if 24x fans are running at 700rpm, motor hum will be still audible, due to high amount of fans.

Not trying to confuse the issue, but is it fans or is it airflow temp going into radiators? While radiators react much less to changes in air temp, it does make a significant differnce if the room temp is 22c and the air into radiators is 25c, 28c, or higher. Ideally we want all radiators to be receiving air at or near room temp.

Pay attention to ciarlatano, he knows his stuff.

Recommend me Radiator fans

All of my rads are in push/pull and as intakes.
I’m looking for quieter fans and really just looking for some other option than Noctua’s as they are expensive.

Since only 1 fan has died atm I’ll likely just get another Vadar to replace it but am considering my options on replacing all of them at some point.

NF-A12x25 PWM goes for $39 CDN, replacing all 24 of my Vadars for the Noctua’s would only run me $910 before taxes.

We really need a cheaper option to Noctua’s.

Okay, so you have all radiators as intakes. Does your case have as much exhaust vent area as you have radiator intake area?

Sorry for all the basic questions, but with as much radiator area as you have I am wondering why cooling is a problem .. and wondering if it's an airflow problem rather than a fan problem .. or maybe coolant flow problem. Do you maybe know what coolant temp in and out of block is?

Airflow is like anything else in physics .. equal and opposite action. For 2 cubic inches of air to flow into a case we have to have the same 2 cubic inches of air flowing out of case.

For 120mm fans at or below the 1500rpm mark I would go with PH-120MPs instead. If you are aiming for 2000rpm or so, ML120s or SW3 High Speed. I wouldn't bother with the NF-A12x25 to be honest, unless price was not a concern.

Cooling isn’t a problem at all. After seeing a thread on issues with the Vadars and the AQ6 on start up I wanted to see what other options there was.
I’ll likely have to upgrade them at some point since I have the older F4 models that are discontinued now I think so only the “bulk” models left. Since it’s just one fan causing trouble for now I’ll replace it while I can and if any more start dying will be the time to redo them all.

I know I can go wrong with the Noctua’s, I just can’t stand the brown.

If you can wait and just replace the broken fan with a Cheapo fan, noctua should be releasing black nfa12 at the end of the year.

Nice . Yeah I can still order some from EK so since a 2nd one went down now I’ll just order 2 from them and hold off till the end of the year if I can. By that stage I’ll be able to afford to replace all 24.
