Here for instance, when I'm doing a budget build for an actual close IRL friend (which means I'm stubbornly not budging on anything), I go like this:
get the cheapest case that's not horrible : https://ms-start.com/en/ms-cyclops-v...ming-case.aspx
Or differently known as AKYGA AKY012BK, the MS is domestic importer of the same chinese chassis just way cheaper (bought it for 27 euros).
It's perfect for it's higher than usual elevating feet, and 0.7mm steel which is at least 0.2mm more thick than the others in it's price range as well as perforated PSU cover. 2xUSB2.0 and 2xUSB3.0 at the front (i dare you to find this at this price point with all the other perks). 2x140/3x120mm front fans, 2x120mm top with magnetic mesh. 163mm CPU cooler height and 400mm gpu cooler length and plenty of room for 2 radiators for water cooling.
And then i proceed to strip the front panel in this fashion: https://imgur.com/a/ak7F8hW
This leaves this flat front beauty of cheapness with front mesh and foam filter removed, and the case prime for either:
1.Putting the mesh back on because the mesh holes are small enough for an ok filter of its own.
2.Putting 1 or 2 pieces of hard mosquito mesh for windows, and securing it in place with twist-ties for easy removal for cleaning.
3.Putting the mosquito mesh pieces in 1 or 2 wood frames that are then secured onto the front frame of the chassis with weak double-sided tape for easy removal
Add a pack of Arctic P12 PWM PST black for 4 euros a pieces (box of 5 for 20 euros), or even Arctic P14 PWM PST black for 5 euros a piece. And the end result is a poor man's Meshify C with unbeatable airflow for 47 euros.
Friend is probably gonna do no.3 cause he has access to wood and woodworking stuff so he's gonna make a nice black frame.
