Curious what changes there are. Reducing space between the finstack and PCB would be pretty nice for primarily SFF builds.

Do you have a link to info about new Morphous 3? I did a quick google and found nothing but link to your post here and a 9month old link to redd.it about Raijintek working on a new Morphous for RTX cards.

I'm interested. Hopefully, they change something with this near decade old cooler.

hopefully they can figure out stock, the Raijintek II non-Vega edition has been next to impossible to find on anywhere but Newegg for a while now, and it usually sells out super quick.

been thinking of getting one for my 1080 Ti for a while now.

*edit*

just checked and it's in stock now. figures.

*edit 2*

the Morpheus III has "been coming" since before February apparently.

It can take another year far as i'm concerned, why this "Alpha consumer" type of mentality? So what if it's been taking a while?

There's nothing the current Morpheus cannot cool down, there's barely anything you cannot fit it to.. so..
They can take as long as they want, provided what they come up with has tangible performance improvements; being the "i'm 30 but act like a 12year old" RGB era, i wouldn't put my money on what their focus is at. 'Cause thermally, the current variant's not exactly wanting, now is it.

One needs a GPU cooler, one's currently covered. All's well in the Shire.
As to the OP, there's a place for rumours and it's not here. Link for proof if you have it, otherwise post where appropriate, it being -you guessed it- the rumours subforum.

Pride, honour and purity.

I hope its BIGGER !! I want higher TDP rating.

I used a morpheous 2 on my 2080ti ftw3 with 2k rpm noctua fan's and at full tilt (360w) I was getting temps in the 80's. I also got those temps with the stock cooler as well. So I dunno what's up.

I've said it before, I really wish board partners would make GPU's with giant heat sinks and we bring our own fans.

You can drop the temps by putting some washers on the backplate to increase pressure. I think I'm using either 0.75mm or 1mm thick metal washers on mine. Those plastic ones will bend over time and decrease tension. Temperatures should drop 5-7C versus bent nylon washers, or at least that's what happened to mine.
