See that's what I thought. Still though, are you sure a high pressure fan would be better than an air flow focused fan when it's placed so far behind the obstruction itself?

Are you sure about that, if there is no fan there will be no air flow at all no matter how perforated teh case is. A restrictive rear panel might also help with guiding the air to exactly where you want it. So let's say I perforated the rear and mounted a fan there, then I would be far more likely to draw in air from the rear rather than the front and site of the case which is how the harddrives would be cooled to start with. Keep in mind that there are absolutely no front mounted fans in this case. The only fanst in the case are a single rear mounted 120mm fan and a 80mmx15mm fan in the Delta branded PSU.

Isn’t this the back? If so cut out the fan girl part of it and fit in the S12 rather then paying more for the A12, you won’t need the static pressure without the grill, more airflow the better

I see the argument you are making, and I might do that though it wouldn't really increase the flow all that much. Still it's worth considering I guess.

I second doyll, and I recommend NF-P12, which has higher pressure and more air flow than your current.

Stock rear vent grill is low airflow resistant so won't make much difference.
Edit:
Cut out stock vent grill at edges of circle for less airflow restriction.

Removing side panel likely will make little to no difference. In fact HDDs and other components could end up running hotter rather than cooler.

Precisely the problem.

Anyway here is some pictures that shows the case, all should be fairly self explanatory but there is one that is of the side door which is there to show that the fan pull air from both the front and the side of the case.
