** Thermalright Black Eagle **

Thermalright Black Eagle

Thermalright says:
Quote:
The strongest single tower gaming cooler with unique high-quality new focus fan blade Black Eagle is a member of the TUF Gaming Alliance. It has stylish RGB lighting and optimized cooling performance and provides a new air cooling for gamers Experience. Not just cooling. It is THERMALRIGHT’s high-quality CPU cooling device, which can achieve the best cooling effect while meeting your needs for spectacular RGB gaming devices.
Maybe something is being lost in translation, but as capable as Black Eagle looks like it might be, it is definitively not "strongest single tower" out there. Thermalright itself has several single tower coolers with more cooling.
More to come as I gather info and dimensional drawing.

Really like the looks of base with it's 5x 6mm heatpipes. Should cool well.

Yet another TUF Gaming alliance product. Maybe this is the Asus version of GPP. You release a product with our branding, and we'll give you some perks or something. Think about it, Asus is their competitor, but they're putting Asus' brand on it.

ASUS isn't really a direct competitor since they don't make air coolers. This is really more a way to get Asus branding on complimentary products and get Asus exposure for said complimentary product.

Well maybe not thermalright, but other companies in the loop definitely. I wonder what the fine print is on this so-called alliance?

Seems like a way for a bunch of distributors to get their name out. Asus offical TUF Gaming / TUF Gaming Alliance website has 52 brands listed, strangely Thermalright is not on the list, but there are 6 cooler companies with 11 air coolers iisted. 3 are fo them are CLCs. Attached is image of air coolers including Black Eagle even though it's not on Asus TUF list.

I see Black Eagle is releasing in Japan with a price of
¥
7800 (Japanexe yen). At current exchange that is $72.30 and
66.13 (euro). Seems quite expensive when I can buy TRUE Spirit 140 Power for £54.55 delivered to my door.
