the cooler is in another state in my country also I would have to look if the accepts paypal if he doesnt I cant buy it
edit: the seller doesnt use paypal but accepts bitcoin yeah most likely a scammer

not sure why other sites put the NH-D14 close to the Mugen 5.

Do you have any site comparing the Dark Rock 3 and Mugen 5 and the NH D15/14 with a 9900k/9700k? or some high TDP single die cpu (Intel 78xx 79xx) ?

D15/D14 wins against mugen and dark rock, just with sheer size.

There are a lot of reviews with wrong results I think then I will use overclockers.com as a reference but I don't know many more reliable sites overclockersclub shows the NH D14 was around the same performance as the mugen 5

Because I have been using the same hardware for nearly a decade.. I was not able to run prime 95 let alone linpack xtreme at 4400 with my x5690 and D14. I can do that with my Le Grand Macho RT, and True Spirit 140 Power, but I need to use TY-143. Don't know about prime because I gave up on that many moons ago. Without TY-143 the three are about the same performance with this CPU. Id still give the edge to LGMRT, it really is good. I had TS140P on earlier today, performance was excellent, but with my fan config I got just a hair better performance with LGMRT. Less than 5c, and its only because its such a large cooler, it can use the crapload of air I can move through my case. And the coldplate is a touch nicer.

That Be Quiet looks good if brand new. Excellent as a matter of fact.

It is as cheap as my Hyper T4 which hits my FlareX seating 35mm from base to the first fin.

EDIT: The cooler does not actually hit the ram. There is like 1mm space but installing, the ram has to go first. Now, if the cooler is installed facing the rear fan, then the ram can be installed after the cooler is in place without the fan.

Some cooler like noctua have fixtures that allow for installation facing the ram or gpu.

Mugen 5 is a good cooler for sure. While not the very best it is definitely one of the top coolers out there. I agree, Overclockersclub uses a decently accurate test procedure. About as good as can be done using actual CPU vs artificial heat souce. I find it interesting how closely the 1x vs 2x fan performance was, as well as how close they are to NH-D14.

Macho Direct or Mugen 5 are my choices now I will see if anyone is selling some amazon gc if they arent I am going to be limited to the Macho Direct
I have never seen a Macho SBM but why it would outperform a macho direct? https://play3r.net/reviews/cooling/t...cooler-review/

I'd probably choose mugen 5 over macho direct. They're similar weight, The Mugen 5 has 1 more heatpipe, and a proper coldplate, while Macho Direct has a bigger and better fan with worse direct contact heatpipes.

the Macho SBM is quite smaller and lighter than the other 2, so again Mugen 5 seems the best choice out of the 3.

If you can find the Macho Rev. C or Rev. B however, those would be the best choice.

Don't forget Scythe Fuma 2 has full ram clearance as well.
