3900x nh d15. Extreme temperatures.

System:

Define S, 3 x nf a14 front intake, 1 stock fan rear exhaust. Front panel and filter removed.
Cooler nh d15
Mobo crosshair 6 hero (bios 7803)
3900x

In prime95 at 4,3ghz, 1,275v, 160w (core+soc power) hits 93-94ºC at max fan speed and 25ºC ambient temperature, which would make about 70ºC delta. Is that normal? Isnt that too much? Ik ryzen 3000 thermal density is high, but im seeing GN temps with 198w on 3950x (same exact internal layout like 3900x) sitting at 55ºC delta on a test bench, which is probably worst compared to the "wind tunnel" i have here.

it´s all in the comment, read all. Everything is at max speed, front panel and filter removed, and 3xnf a14 as intake. Im pretty sure the test enclosure it´s not the problem, as it reaches max temp in 2-3min, and has been used in the past for other system giving excelent results as a setup.

Check the mount of the cooler. Likely needs to be remounted

What Shawnb99 said.

First thing is check mount. I know it's probably not the problem but are you sure you removed clear tape on cooler base? Many of us have done that a time or two. If you don't find anything wrong and have enought TIM, remove, clean, re-apply TIM and remount.

Another possiblity is your 3900x motherboard combo needs some setting changes.

Many new builds with 3900x have experience high temps. Maybe try posting on AMD forum if remounting doesn't solve problem.

Shenua, is your 3900x manually OC'd? If so, reset BIOS to stock and rerun Prime95.

In addition, I agree completely with Shawnb99.

You also may want to improve the exhaust fan. I purchased a Noctua Exhaust fan for my 3900x rig and it really does help.

Think about it. Per your specs you have THREE (emphasis added) intake fans and ONE stock exhaust fan.

Just for fun switch one of the intake fans with your exhaust fan and run 2 intake to 1 GOOD exhaust.

Move a bottom front fan to the top of your chassis just above the D15 and see if there are changes in temperature.

Does GN also run an all core OC? 4.3 on twelve cores while doing P95 is gonna run hot for sure...my 3800x clocks down to 4050-4100 to be able to maintain 85°C with an NHD15 in Darkbase Pro Case (Three Intakes, three exhauts)

Yeah, just DBP900 is an oven so your issue comes from a closed up case, not workload nor CPU.
