Oh... one day ASUS components and mobos are crap, the next they're top notch.

Either way, it's still PCI 2.0 and rated for less then PCI 3.0 which is most modern Intel boards and has 90%+ consumer marketshare these days.

Which ever way you try to play this, it's still going all hulk mode on what is a non-issue anyways.
