That is the point of this poll

I voted quick reply because I use BBCode to do most of my formatting. It also has the improved benefit of (potentially) using fewer resources, so a resource starved user could still use the site.

Having a user option to toggle this would be really nice. I suppose most quick reply fans wouldn't really mind the full post editor, I'm just wary of the increased resource use of the site.

If using that editor consumes 1 watt more than otherwise, then after 1 million posts we could have saved 1 megawatt of power being used

I would say that extra resource usage between quick and full editor will be negligible due to the fact the same plugin is loaded for either, just the full has a few more buttons.

I would like to have the full editor in place of the quick reply editor. It would save time posting.

That way both parties can be happy.
Then Quick Reply starts to become Full Post Reply.

That is why we have the poll to see what user prefer.

It will be two weeks tomorrow since this poll has been put up and it seems from the thread activity that it has run its course. I hope that you didn't forget about it, especially when it comes to actually doing something about the matter in discussion.

83 votes cast, 77 (92.77%) of which in favour of the Full Post Editor becoming standard.

Be calm my friend. Not forgotten, simply underway as we have some other systems being worked on.

Well, the last post on this thread was from Overclock_Admin, from more than a week ago and there was no official statement or poll close, so I was just wondering what the status of this was.

TESTING Quick Reply has been removed, full editor will show once you hit reply.

I am looking into if Full Editor can show below in place of QR, standby for updates.
