Oh cool, that's almost the same as mine. Feel free to borrow any idea's

For the base I melted a bunch of solder, around 1/2 and drilled a few holes. Solders got lots of tin in it so it should be ok for heat transfer, I think it's better then Alu

Polymer cutting board for mount. Yumyum, you may want to take the zip ties off. You're compressing your insulation, which you do not want to do. You need it to be porous.

Yup, HDPE is what is commonly used! You can just buy a nice HDPE cutting board (for cooking) and use that. I got a 12x12 piece from amazon for like $15 when I bought mine.

Yep, I like cutting board becuse it's easy to cut and has a little give if you put too much pressure on it.

Mount is made for AM3. Used cutting board. It's mounted on my Sig rig will have dry ice in the morn. Test results to come + pics.

I think you should duct a leaf blower onto your air cooler...wait till liek 2am and fire it up for some hardcore OC action ..really piss of the neighbors.. and see if you can F5 your CPU-Z before the cops show up!!

I started one of these myself. I even found a tube of neoprene for the container, but found an F1 dragon EE on ebay for a good price and gave up on the home made pot.
