What were you using for a cpu pot before? You did have one right?

Moparman, nice work & can't wait to see it in action, good luck man!

I started making one, exactly the same as what moparman is doing. I used 2" copper pipe and a cap. Before I got to finding something to add mass to it with, I found the F1. Then I gave up on the idea of a home made pot. The only difference is that his is longer than mine. I think mine is about 7-8" which is plenty. Any longer than that and it becomes painful to use.

He is benching it now. Doing pretty good for his first time to.

I think you should duct a leaf blower onto your air cooler...wait till liek 2am and fire it up for some hardcore OC action ..really piss of the neighbors.. and see if you can F5 your CPU-Z before the cops show up!!

Do the opposite of what this guy just said if you want the best results you can get

Does he have temp reading?? I've got most of my base done on mine...came out to 2.6 lb's. Really excited to try it out tomorrow.

Really looking forward to hear how Moparman's did so I can get an idea of how home made pots work

Yeah I've heard a shot glass full is all you need.

How much did the pot end up weighing?
