OCN Marksman V1 CPU pot
Just over 2.3KG with all the gubbins on Excuse my dirty scales.
With the base being so short and fat it holds like a much heavier pot only without the temp lag. Really happy with the end result Did just talk to Scoot btw, would be able to do something like that but maybe you should see it in action first
hehe. The original one was bigger but we had problems with it freezing things that weren't meant to be frozen especially on problem boards like the CHIVE. 88mil with an increased taper was the way to go, fits everything a little better and no frozen controllers this time.
Redhat: "The datasheet is clear so its pretty hard to read without an overhead projector"
working on some clean pics.. with the pot mounted up.. will post them today
thought i would post a couple pics of getting the pot insulated up...
*I use my own method.. tried/true.
I start with a layer of shop towel.. which is wrapped/masking taped tightly to the pot
..then start adding your choice of insulating wrap.. and/or sleeve. Due to the size of the Marksman, I choose some Frost king wrap..
...2x overlapped layers.. with seams 180 from each other..nicely trimmed..
..ready for mount and outer-sleeve [to catch moisture run-off/build-up] ...
*Pre-testing today, on EP45-UD3R with E8500 @ 5.7+
More in-bound today..
*pics taken using HTC Vivid
