In a couple of weeks i will be going to finally fill my Dewar that is 47L.. It is a hot Dewar in reasonable shape.

So just for fun how many extra L do think it will take to fill?

My estimate 5-6L smile.gif

What guess say you? lol

My company doesn't count lost litres in filling, just the capacity of the tank.

Probably about 5 or so litres would be my guess though.

If they do sting you for the extra filling, just remember to keep a litre or 2 in the bottom of the tank so its cold for next fill.

Wholly cow man... talk to the manager, that is a rip off $13/L.. BTW i am in Thailand which is the price i get and also when you fill a hot dewar I.E which is at room temp you lose a few L as it evaporates making the dewar cold

Ya i think that's just their rate. They are the only people in town who sell ln2 and dice in small amounts but my friends business buys a 1000l per month from them so i think i will be able to use his account when i fill.
