Was talking with some friends and the topic of LN2 cooling came up....assuming one has unlimited budget(ability to buy large amounts of LN2 and associated feeding and exhaust systems), a team of mechanical and chemical and electrical engineers(to build a self-reliant LN2 feeding and gaseous exhaust system), special law enforcement allowance(I'm sure there are some laws that prevent a private residence from being able to store large amounts of hazardous material like LN2), how feasible would it be to run a daily-usable system using LN2 cooling? How long can a CPU even last at over -150C?

Also, for the sake of conducting a thought experiment, how would one even go about building a daily-usable LN2 cooled system? what materials/piping/pumps/etc. would one need?

Most of C2D's won't work at this temps (due to coldbug) and probably your rig even won't boot (cold bug boot - you need to warm at example to -100C to boot, but cpu can easily running on lower temps). And it isn't only cpu cooling - high vcore probably kill your motherboard, you also need to increase other voltages. LN2 is hard to manage even for two hours

It would probably be easier and cheaper to get a cascading phase...

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) Report, not respond to Spam (6) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular (7) Sequential does not matter as much as random for OS drives (8) Requirements come before hardware for servers
