I still think I'll end up getting rid of my giga board and go back to the biostar i45, my first oc board <3

Couple of pics from a couple of quick sessions the last couple of evenings, been testing mem a bit and making sure the board still works after some rogue plastidip went places it shouldn't have

Liquid insulating materials seeping into dimm slots can be a pita with some boards. It can literally climb up the pins and create havoc.

An old toothbrush is the best thing to remove tim from hard to reach places.

For me it was my own idiocy, managed to fling a blob into the socket, and them rested the end of the syringe on a slot later haha.

Hoard them? No idea what you're talking about, I'm never selling the EP45T-Extreme I got for $125ish shipped.... With a case, el cheapo power supply, a graphics card, some CPU, and cheap RAM... Before shipping it was like $80 CAD. So glad whoever put that up was the new guy ^_^

OMG I love it! Did you fill up the pot with water then pop it in the freezer overnight? I did that once with a CPU pot for some old P3 junk during a comp, it actually worked well for about 5 minutes, I assume memory pot would go much longer
