Cleaner! That soot is from the scorching chip under it.......Copper is crazy any-more. I still run across some half way decent deals on flea bay at times, maybe every month or 3.

The scrappers around here want to charge about as much for junk as the new stuff and the hardware stores are even worse.

Full 2" is a nice size for a CPU pot, any smaller and it gets to be a hassle to break the ice up small enough to go in it, at least for a CPU since it goes through it fairly quickly.
