I'm not sure, but regarding the Recent Discussions thing again:

You can disable it in your User CP on here in 'Edit Your Details'. It's at the very bottom.

I don't have any problem with it jumping around when I have it enabled. I'm not sure if it's because I'm using Windows 10 or if it's because I'm using Waterfox 56.2.8, but it moves when I expect it to move and it moves the way I expect it to move too.

It seems I can't get this to happen in Google Chrome either.

For what it's worth, I'm using Waterfox 56.2.8 in Windows 10, and I can't reproduce this even with Stylish disabled (which runs OCN Classic).

If you're wondering about Waterfox, it's the way Firefox was before it became Firefox Quantum, but it's kept up to date with all the latest security updates. So, Waterfox provides 100% full support for XPCOM/XUL extensions, and it also has the superior interface as well. I find Waterfox to be far superior to Firefox Quantum.

I can't test Firefox because I don't have a copy of it in my installation of Windows 10, and I don't plan to install one either.

People (by that I mean enthusiasts) still use the built in file explorer for Winduhs? Total Commander has been blowing the doors off the stock file explorer since win 95.

File Explorer is more than enough for how I use my computer.

Agreed. It's the best feature I didn't know I wanted.

For most enthusiasts it seems as well. File Explorer is really pretty solid for being a Windows default function.

Once you get into superuser territory the file explorer programs become less of a productivity bottleneck than the PC they are running on.

Maybe old new explorer would work?

You should check out oldnewexplorer, it sounds like what you need.

I meant the third party programs vs the first party Windows File Explorer. The more training and experience you have with them, the less of a difference there is in productivity between the options available. Kind of like how a master carpenter like my father can make an excellent set of cabinets with nothing more than a few pieces of garage sale $3 tools.
