Red X icon over drives

This is very odd. I have never seen these icons before. It started to appear when I overclock the pc. All the drives have a red x next to it, but I can still open them all with no errors. Upon startup/reboot of pc, I do not see them. After a while, it appears.

The drives have been disconnected somehow. When you press them, it still remembers the credentials you gave it, so it reconnects pretty much instantly.

If these are mapped drives they have a tendency to stay disconnected on log-in if they at any point since being added did not connect on log-in (can happen on SSD's where log-in is faster than Windows getting an IP from your router).

Unstable OC. Those are local drives not network drives except 1. Maybe corrupted OS too.

Only one of those is an actual network drive... but by any chance does Windows think they are network drives? It could be a bug related to that..

Can you open disk manager and see if they are formatted as NTFS drives?

When did this first start happening?

It started after I OC the pc. Prior to that, I have never seen these icons before except the last network drive somethings after a startup. The x looks different to these as there are no circle around it.
What is an unstable OC? PC is running fine and the temp for the cores are 30c at idle and 70c at underload.

Added:
It seems to appears during startup when programs are being open in the background. Initially, the x isn't there, but after a few moment the x starts to pop up for all drives. My motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-V PRO. I have tried to revert back to optimal settings (stock) in bios, but it still happening. I am most certain, it started to happen when I OC.

I found this for a bandage fix, but I haven't tried it. What you think?

Is my pc infected? I can't seem to find the same icon image when searching on the internet of x icon on local drives.

Oh jeez. I thought they were all network drives lol. Disregard my info, it's likely completely unrelated.

Best way to find out is to run a scan and see what you find. Windows defender/Malwarebytes

Now this a strange. After a couple days of noticing these icons, it no longer appears after ever startup/reboot of pc. I have done nothing, but reset the cmos a couple of times, but it never helped in clearing the icons. Ghost in my machine?
