windows 10 enterprise LTSC + OwO *shutup win10* = win.

most of the stuff oWo does can't be done on LTSC, because it isn't there in the first place. LTSC is the server platform, thus the least amount of bloat possible of any win install. You'll experience none of the issues these guides report to prevent, because the BS that causes it isn't there in the first place.

one other bit - you'll never strip down a consumer version of win10 to work as well as enterprise. Little tools and youtube videos aside. skip the BS and bad advice, go directly to LTSC & collect 200 extra hours of smooth sailing free time.

there is zero possibility microsoft will ever nuke the ability to make local/offline accounts.

PERIOD. us even discussing it spreads this lie like plague. It was never gone, just moved.

the only place i could see that ever happening (and it hasn't yet) is on HOME. not EDU, or anywhere else. N even then, how does that account for those getting laptops in extremely rural areas where there's zero internet?

Add me on Steam, same name

If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.
Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

People going on about Windows 10 telemetry...I don't get it. You have a device in your pocket that collects way more data than your PC and nobody ever worries about that. A few GPO tweaks take care of most the annoying bits anyway.

Feel free to correct me. I'm right just as often as I am wrong. Or wrong as equally as I am right at least. I dunno I could be wrong about that..

I have to agree, phone collects more of your personal data then Windows 10 ever will. I have been always anti phone person, in fact I hate it I know its strong word, but I do not like phones for so many reasons and I do try to use it as minimum is I can.

Google is far more evil and less trustworty than Microsoft when it comes to data so seeing the fuss over the Windows 10 telemetry but not the Android spying from your phone is hilarious

And yes i also use my phone as little as possible and since i dont have any social media of any kind i have no excuse to use my phone other than if i need to make the rare call or text or check the GPS if i am lost

I hate smartphones and still have an ancient Nokia which still works and has a battery that can last more than a week
