Hey guys!

I decided to get a new PC rig to play some games I missed last 4 years (was using laptop and PS4, buy I'm PC Gamer for life in my soul).

Biggest thing is - my apartment is not big at all, so I don't want to take much space with gaming setup. But in the same time I want to get modern gaming monitor. As far as I understood the most popular size is 27" nowadays, so I'm aiming here, maby a little bigger (what would you recommend).

Dimentions:

I don't want to go bigger then 120cm x 120cm desk.

As of now I'm aiming here:
IKEA LINNMON Corner desk
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S49932175/

Another one I like is BEKANT
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S39006355/

But what bothers me here is depth of 60 cm - is it even enough for 27" monitor gaming?

What's your opinion on this guys? Maby I can get some hints from you.

I plan to keep my pc on the floor and just single monitor setup. The biggest thing for me is to save as much space as possible.

My desk is 65cm deep (ikea malm) and I've got a 40" tv on it... It's fine for me!

I also have the Ikea linnmon desk and I think it's awful. It's horribly light and unstable, but it does cost next to nothing, so what do you expect.

Do you sit just in front of tv or kinda sideways?

Malm looks bulky and unnecessary wide for my small bedroom, it definetely looks more stable then Linnmon, but considering the fact that I'm not planning to put anything except monitor + speakers + leyboard on it - maby it would beit be alright?

Personally I just don't have anything good to say about the Linnmon, I really really didn't like it! But as I said, because of how cheap it is, you may as well just try it out to see if it suits your needs!

The bekant would be much more solid though, that would be my choice between the two. Remember the linnmon tabletop is a hollow honeycomb cardboard structure. The bekant is solid wood!

Yes, 60cm deep is fine.

I have a 32inch monitor which I use on my 85cm deep desk, however I use it on about 60cm distance from my eyes.

I really like bekant, the only thing that bothers me is it is too wide for me at 140cm length.

If you guys can recommend me something else - would be great.

The only thing I don't want to do is making a custom desk.

I spent ages looking for a replacement for my Malm desk (I love this desk, I just wanted something smaller - like you, I don't have much space!) and the only option I came up with was the Linnmon, and I hated it, so I've gone back to the Malm.

I see,
I just want to play some PC games already, so maby I just got with LINNMON and throw if away if I hate it.

I saw a video on youtube where guy recommended using Linnmon with Alex drawer on one side and regular legs on the other. That helps with stability plus gives a stylish look.

well if you want to save the space, FlexiSpot Coupons desks are the best for you.
They have a vast collection of standing bikes, standing, and adjustable desks.
I am pretty sure you will get one at an affordable price.
