A question for Vali 2 owners

I ordered the Schiit Vali 2 last week along with some Beyerdynamic DT 990 250 ohm cans. I currently have a Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium HD soundcard installed so I did not order a DAC (yet). The soundcard has been freezing my system at first boot everyday so I am going to replace it soon. The motherboard is a Crosshair VI Hero and my question is, if I get rid of the soundcard and just run my audio from the motherboard>DAC>Vali 2 will I lose positional audio in games?
