My system right now is running 4.4ghz on all cores during full load and 1-4 cores on 4.45-4.5ghz during normal tasks and after an hour and 15 min of monitoring the VRM maxed at 30c and 30 min of that was near full load testing memory. I havent ever seen the cpu behavior at higher VRM temps so I am curious as to how it reacts during a stress test.
I guess I didn't make myself clear. When stress testing the case fans are running at 600-700rpm and the vrm heat sink is a block of metal with no fins. So the vrms run a little warm then. The vrms on my Sabertooth destabilize at 81C so the GT7 is comparatively good.
But when gaming the case fans hit 2000rpm all the time. What temps does your gpu run at? The GT7 is not so good for stress testing but is great for gaming.
