Most 1080P monitors uses TN panels which tends to have poor color accuracy and the image looks white washed compared to an IPS panel
There is the LG 24MP59G-P which is one of the few 23-24 inch 1080P monitors with an IPS panel, i have one for my second PC and its actually pretty good if you consider how cheap it is

Edit: looks like all your old monitors are using TN panels so thats a good reason to upgrade them
